of London’s finest young jazz musicians to play the music of jazz legend Carla
Bley!

Based in
London, vocalist and composer Sylvie Noble pulls from eclectic
influences across the musical spectrum, combining jazz and folk to create an
entirely unique sound. She released her debut album ‘New Eve’, a voice and bass
duo collaboration with 2024 BBC Young Jazz Musician winner Ursula Harrison,
in April 2026. A finalist of the 2025 Tina May Young Jazz Musician competition,
she combines dynamic and exploratory improvisation with evocative and soulful
melodies, pushing the boundaries of genre.

Elliot
Wong is jazz saxophonist and composer from Sydney Australia. After
completing his undergraduate degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music he
moved to the UK in 2024 to study a postgraduate degree in jazz on scholarship
at the Royal Academy of Music. Most recently, Elliot was invited to play at La
Note Bleu in Monaco to play with John McLaughlin as a part of his ‘Young Lions’
group.
Irish/Danish
pianist Nils Kavanagh, winner of the Young Irish Jazz Musician of the Year
Award 2022-2024 and finalist in the BBC Young Jazz Musician 2024, has an
energetic and explorative sound, with a taste for strong melodies, bright
harmonies and explosive rhythms influenced by his Irish and Danish roots.
Ursula
Harrison is a bass player and composer from Pontygwaith, South Wales.
Winner of BBC Young Jazz Musician 2024, Harrison is currently studying the
European Jazz Master’s programme based in Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
Harrison was featured in JazzWise’s Taking Off series and Nikki
Yeoh’s Nucleus Sessions in Ronnie Scott’s in early 2025.

Bailey
Love is an expressive and imaginative drummer from the Welsh village of
Abertillery. Currently studying jazz at the Royal Welsh College of Music and
Drama, he’s left no musical stone unturned, dabbling in psyche rock, hip-hop,
synth pop and bebop'.
